Company’s Philosophy
JDL embraces the principles of water—its flexibility to adapt to external conditions and its purity and simplicity. We strive to integrate these qualities into our wastewater treatment solutions, creating processes that are flexible, resource-saving, and ecologically sound. Our goal is to revolutionize the wastewater treatment industry with innovative, sustainable approaches that reflect the true nature of water.
Who We Are
JDL Global Environmental Protection, Inc., based in New York, is a subsidiary of Jiangxi JDL Environmental Protection Co., Ltd. (stock code: 688057). Utilizing our proprietary FMBR (Facultative Membrane Bio-Reactor) technology, we offer expert services in wastewater treatment design and consultation, project investment, and operations & maintenance (O&M).
Our core technical team comprises seasoned environmental protection consultants, civil engineers, electrical engineers, project management engineers, and wastewater treatment R&D specialists, each with over 30 years of experience in the field. In 2008, JDL pioneered the development of FMBR technology, which employs specialized microorganisms to simultaneously degrade carbon, nitrogen, and phosphorus in a single reaction process. This innovative approach minimizes organic sludge discharge, reduces project investment and footprint, and effectively addresses the "Not in My Backyard" challenge and the complexities of traditional sewage treatment management.
Leveraging FMBR technology, JDL has transformed and upgraded sewage treatment plants from traditional engineering facilities into standardized equipment, pioneering the decentralized pollution control model of 'Collect, Treat, and Reuse Wastewater Onsite.' JDL has also independently developed an 'Internet of Things + Cloud Platform' central monitoring system and a 'Mobile O&M Station.' Integrating the concept of 'sewage treatment facilities underground, park above-ground,' FMBR technology can be applied to ecological wastewater treatment plants, which combine wastewater reuse with ecological leisure, offering a groundbreaking solution for water environmental protection.
JDL has secured 63 invention patents. The company's FMBR technology has garnered multiple international accolades, including the IWA Project Innovation Award, the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center’s Wastewater Treatment Innovation Technology Pilot Grant, and the American R&D100 Award. URS has recognized FMBR as having 'the potential to become a breakthrough leader in sewage treatment in the 21st century.
Today, JDL continues to advance steadily, driven by its innovative and leading core technology. FMBR technology has been successfully deployed in over 4,000 units across 19 countries.
MassCEC Pilot Project
In March 2018, Massachusetts, as a global clean energy center, publicly sought proposals for innovative cutting-edge wastewater treatment technologies around the world to conduct technical pilots in Massachusetts. After a year of rigorous selection and evaluation, in March 2019, JDL’s FMBR technology was selected as the technology for the Plymouth Municipal Airport pilot WWTP project.
